The second is to go out of the way and make a difference in other’s lives.  In order to choose the second path, you need to master some skills and possess certain habits that make you different from others.

One of the most important traits of entrepreneurs is self-motivation, i.e. you should motivate yourself every day to chase your dreams. When you want to succeed, you need to be able to push yourself. You aren’t answerable to anyone else as an entrepreneur, and that sometimes means that it’s hard to get moving without anyone to make you. You need to be dedicated to your plan and keep moving forward.

Another important thing about motivation is, you will have your team dependent on you, so without self-motivation, you cannot motivate your team members. So always be motivated yourself and motivate your team members to chase your dreams.

2. Take risks and make mistakes

One important thing that makes you different from a common man is the ability to take risks and not being afraid of making mistakes. Remember, Thomas Edison had failed many times before he invented many path-breaking inventions. He because he didn’t give up despite failing over and over again.

Luck does play a role in business, but when you start talking about luck in entrepreneurship, you can never attribute too much credit for success to the fortune’s wheel.

Luck means that a variable is random and the outcome just happens to be positive purely by chance or not even by probability. Successful entrepreneurs aren’t successful because they rolled the dice but because they took a lot of careful and calculated decisions, and had enough motivation to take action at a point in time.

4. Practicing mindfulness

Mindfulness refers to a practice of paying attention to everything about what is going around you and being more accepting of whatever it is that we experience through our senses. This will always help in focussing the present rather than allowing your mind to wander in many other things and lost focus.

Besides making you happier, practicing mindfulness helps clear our mental clutter and makes us receptive to new ideas for innovations. Try to practice mindfulness into your day-to-day activities by being fully focussed on whatever you’re doing at any given moment and their-by focusing on only one task at a time.

 5. Thinking out of the box

Thinking differently is the key to a successful business, everybody makes products or ideas but how different is your idea or product is what makes you unique. It may not be a completely different product or idea but a small thing that creates huge values which others not provide is the way you can always compete in the market.
